ELPID 2021 Final Workshop

Our project-based engineering course – ELPID 2021 – was closed yesterday!
The final workshop gathered 80 participants from partner institutions (Vienna University of Technology, Politecnico di Milano – MECCPolimi, University of Ljubljana, Faculty Of Mechanical Engineering, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture ) and this year’s industrial partner Siemens Mobility in a virtual meeting room on the Microsoft Teams platform.
Congratulations to all the teams (especially the winners team HITO) and their coaches on the successful development of the innovative subway car interiors. The hard work they invested, coupled with the suggested online collaboration tools (Onshape, a PTC Business – PTC Education, Microsoft Teams, Miro, and Trello) from our e-learning platform (www.elpid.org), resulted in innovative solutions and positive feedback from Siemens Mobility.
We want to thank all the students, team coaches, and professors for their dedication and invested effort throughout the course.
Thank you, prof. Manfred Grafinger, Heinz Peter Stanek, and Maximilian Schramek for coordination and management of this edition!
We want to thank Siemens Mobility representatives, especially Ms. Sophie Jesper and Mr. Stephan, for their continuous help, support, provided feedback, and shared expertise.
Finally, thanks goes to European Commission and Agencija za mobilnost i programe Europske unije (AMPEU) (Dijana Stilinović) for supporting such a collaboration between the partner institutions through the #erasmusplus program.
